Nice cookie/biscuit for coffee/tea/cold milk
Excellent cookies these are sometimes hard to get in certain areas but they're great with coffee or nice cold milk they're a little sweet to the taste but not too much.
Perfectly satisfied.
Very pleased! Arrived fresh and in good condition.
Delicious!
The flavor is old world, moist with a touch of spice.
Meh: hoped they were kichel by another name
I’ve had a craving for kichel, a childhood treat. I’ve tried (now) 3 brands on & off Amazon. The shape of these was right. The taste is ok and not kichel. I like plain cookies and for one it’s ok-a bit dry. Dunkers in coffee, tea, hot cocoa may prefer them to eating plain.Stella d’oro please bring back your packaged kichel!
Good product, horrible price
Delicious, but way over priced. I guess once in a while to pay double is ok*** UPDATE: i ordered them again a month later and had to get a refund from Amazon. They were beyond the expiration date. Stale. What a shame for such a ridiculous price, they have the nerve to send you stale, expired cookies. So be ware.
No good
Cookies are hard not soft like they should be
Good for dunking
Half a century or so ago, we used to get a kind of Stella D'Oro brand Egg Biscuits that were shaped something like oval doughnuts with scalloped outer edges. They were snapping-crispy in a sort of spongy way, and very low-cal: if I can trust my memory, 30 calories per biscuit, though it may have been as much as 60. I had hoped these might prove the same except for their shape. They are not. They are 130 calories each, and can perhaps best be described as soft biscotti. But my disappointment melted away in pleasure at what they are, which is delicately tasty and superb for dunking in coffee (don't leave subjerged longer than about half a second).
