DELICIOUSLY THE BEST!
I have been buying these delicious anise toasts since I was kid growing up in Brooklyn, NY. They are difficult to find in the supermarkets and if they nare, they are place3d in areas difficult to find. So I just buy them from Amazon, although they've gone up in price, but worth it. For me, the best anise toasts are from Stella Doro, avery old brand. Their other products are all great tasting as well.
It's important to me that I can't find them in my Kansas City grocery stores. Why not?
I loved everything about them. I grew up out on the east coast and purchased them regularly, or rather my folks did. I miss having them readily available to me. They are delicious. I hate to think that I have to order them only on line if I want them. What's up with that? Any way they are as scrumptious as I remember.
Biscotti's online
My wife likes Stella D'oro Anisette Toast biscotti's, but has had difficulty in locating them in local grocery stores as we travel through the summer. So we found them online and took a chance. They arrived in good condition and were dated as fresh ( dated to expire)for four months. If you like these, it can be a good way to obtain them.
Broken and STALE
I love these usually! I thought long and hard about buying since price was so high. I did was excited to receive and it arrived with top row all crumbled. Okay sad but still had the others well they was stale!!!!!!!! Stale. So disappointing since I can’t find anywhere by me here in North Carolina

Stella D'Oro Anisette Toast is great with coffe. The taste of the anisette and coffee are extraordinary. I dip it in coffee and let it suck up the copffee, but before it saturated too much bitr it off. Dont leave it in coffee too long or it will melt in yout coffee..Happy slurping. P.S. I do struggle with the price. With high prices this have gone through the roof. I had to cut back. I just cant afford it like before. To: Stella D'Oro company cut back on price "please"..

When I was younger I remember my mother eating these toasted biscotti with her coffee in the morning. I would smell the anisette flavor and wanted to have one and join her. I did not like coffee at the time so I ate them like a cookie. They would gradually melt in my mouth and I would try to make them last and last. Recently, they have been hard to find at the grocery store or specialty food store so we had to order them online. I love them. Same as they were many many years ago.
