A tasty familiar treat from the past but not very available.
I was born and raised on the East coast where Stella D'Oro was readily available in every grocery store. It is very sad that we cannot get these products in other parts of the country today. Also, there were long sesame cookies that were harder and could be dunked in coffee without falling apart which are not available any longer. This is unfortunate since they were really popular and sold well.
Very good product, very bad price
The product quality is great, but the seller is really taking advantage of the limited distribution of the Stella D'Oro brand due to the ongoing strike. The retail price clearly marked on each package is $2.79, so a case of 12 packages should retail for $33.48 plus shipping. Since the cost of this product is $47.95 plus shipping for a case of 12 packages, make sure you really are desperate for a Stella D'Oro before ordering.

Love them . A couple of packs were a little dry, but still great with coffee!! Reminded me of my childhood and home!

I grew up eating Stella D’oro Anisette Sponge, so these bring back so many memories! They’ve always been one of my favorites, and unfortunately, I can’t seem to find them in stores anymore.I especially love dunking them in my coffee or milk. The texture and anise flavor are just perfect, and they’re absolutely delicious when they soak up a little of the coffee or milk.I’m so happy I was able to find these online! If you grew up eating Stella D’oro Anisette Sponge, you know exactly what I mean. ❤️ Definitely a nostalgic favorite that I’ll keep buying!
These are almost addictive they're so good!
My wife had a hankering for the cookies she had as a child, but we could not find them in any store in my area. She was excited when we found them on Amazon so I ordered them for her five days before Christmas. There were two problems: 1) they wouldn't make it in time for Christmas; 2) I could only order them in a six packages bundle. Both problems were not showstoppers. We have been enjoying them for sure.If you have a hankering, just be aware you should order well in advance... it took 9 -10 days from order to delivery. Also, unless things have changed, plan on eating a lot of them! We're happy!
